Application Checklist
The following list of documents will assist you in formulating a home loan presentation. It is not meant to be absolute or prescriptive since credit assessment is not an exact science, but rather requires experience from the lenders to make a subjective analysis.
In other words, leave the worry to your Green Light Home Loan consultant, but you collect as many details to prove income and savings as is necessary. Please call our office for clarification on (07) 4723 6612.
Income
Two recent pay slips and last year's group certificate
A copy of Centrelink benefits received
(only if the loan relies on these benefits)
Self-Employed
Copies of past two years tax returns for you and the business (this is not required if you are considering an equity loan).
Savings (some lenders offer 100% loans)
Generally need to show evidence over preferably 6 months via bank statements, term deposits, or share certificates
(some lenders are happy with 3 months proof).
Rates notice only required for investors and second home purchasers.
Debts or Commitments
Personal loan statements or copy of loan agreements.
Recent Credit Card Statements.
Refinance
Copy of last 12 months loan statements for existing mortgage (some lenders will accept 6 months).
Other
100 points of identification (drivers license, passport or birth certificate)
